He worked for the firm Baker & McKenzie in Chicago from 2009 to 2010 and, in the second half of 2010, served in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. Author of several articles on anticorruption and compliance published in Brazil and abroad.
Carlos was the leader of the Brazilian delegation for discussions on ISO 37001 and was a member of the Editorial Group of the standard.
