Lead Compliance Counsel - Latin America at Nokia

Lawyer graduated from PUC/SP; certified CCPE-I, she is a member of OAB/SP, of SCCE, and of the Compliance Committee of IASP; has an LL.M. in American Law from the Boston University School of Law and an Executive MBA in Strategic and Economic Business Management from FGV. Since 2016, she has been working for Nokia as Lead Compliance Counsel - Latin America, in charge of all Compliance actions and initiatives in the region and previously held the position of Compliance Lead - Training & Communications, where she was responsible for developing global compliance communications and training. Prior to Nokia, she worked for the companies Steele Compliance Solutions, Mattel, Medtronic, and Philips and for the law firm Demarest e Almeida Advogados (in NYC and São Paulo). Former member of the Ethics Committee of ABIMET for 2 two-year terms, where she actively participated in the review of the Code of Ethics and dissemination of good practices of ethics and integrity for the industry. Since 2013, she has been giving talks on compliance in Brazil and Europe and was a teacher in LEC’s Intensive Anticorruption Compliance Course in 2018. She has published three articles on compliance in Brazil in the online issue of the U.S. magazine ACC Docket.
