With a solid executive career in the IT industry, with stints at multinationals like First Data, ICT Group, EDS, and General Motors, Maria Fernanda has always been concerned about the role of companies in society. More than a year ago, she took over the company Integrow - beyond numbers for the purpose of assisting companies in the pursuit of business integrity and ethics.
She is one of the most awarded executives in Brazil, already recognized by Forbes Magazine and Gazeta Mercantil (Executive of the Year Awards, Information Technology - Top Executive and Business Executive) and by Latin America Magazine as Top Leader in Latin America.
Weekly columnist for Gazeta Mercantil for seven years and quoted in various Business and Technology books, she graduated in Administration and completed Business programs at Harvard Business School, FGV, IBGC, Thunderbird, and INSEAD.
Maria Fernanda is also involved with various organizations devoted to women and diversity in the world of business, both in Brazil and internationally. She founded ‘Grupo de Mulheres Executivas de São Paulo’ and is director of ‘Mulheres do Brasil’, currently with over 23,000 Female Executives and Entrepreneurs. She was also a member of the World Bank’s Gender and Development Advisory Board, and chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of AMCHAM Brazil, as well as Board member in private companies.
She recently became Board member of the Inter-American Dialogue, a network of leaders committed to promoting democratic governance, prosperity, and social equity in the Americas.
