Comptroller General of the State of Minas Gerais

Federal Auditor of Finance and Control at the Comptroller General’s Office of Brazil (CGU), now Comptroller General of the State of Minas Gerais. He headed the Special Advisory Committee on Internal Control of the Ministry of Planning between 2016 and 2018 and was responsible for implementing the Integrity and Risk Management Program in the Ministry. He was Special Advisor for Internal Control to the Minister of Finance (2015) and General Coordinator of Treasury Audit at the CGU (2013 – 2014). Doctoral student in Public Administration (UnB), Master of Accounting (UnB). Post-graduate in Finance (Ibmec) and Financial Audit (UnB/TCU). Bachelor of Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He is an instructor at ESAF and ENAP. He is the author of the books ‘Implementando a Gestão de Riscos no Setor Público’ (Ed. Fórum) and ‘Auditoria Privada e Governamental’ (Ed. Impetus, 3rd edition) and holds three international certifications: Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), Certification in Control Self-Assessment ( CCSA), and Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), all issued by The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
