30 years’ experience in Institutional and Government Relations serving as an executive and consultant at multiple industries for companies such as Xerox, BMW, Philip Morris, Nokia, Copersucar, Syngenta, Honda, Telemar, SCJohnson, Monsanto, Mercado Livre, Petrobras, Abraciclo, and Boticário. Production Engineer (UFRJ), with two MBAs (FDC/INSEAD, COPPEAD) and certification courses at Harvard (Negotiation), London Business School (Innovation & Leadership), and George Washington University (Business in a Political Age). He is currently completing a Doctor in Administration program at École Superieure de Commerce de Rennes, France. Author of articles published in Brazil and other countries, in addition to books on Strategy and Government Relations. Professor in various MBA programs at FGV since 2000, he is the creator and coordinator of the first MBA in Government Relations in Brazil, launched by FGV in 2015. Member of ABRIG (Associação Brasileira de Relações Institucionais e Governamentais) and of iRelGov (Instituto de Relações Governamentais). Member of COFIN (Conselho de Política Industrial e Desenvolvimento Tecnológico) at CNI, of ABNT (Brazilian Standards Association), and of CONSIC (Conselho de Política Industrial e Desenvolvimento Tecnológico) at FIESP. Chief Executive Officer of ABRAMAT (Brazilian Association of the Construction Material Industry), an entity that brings together over 45 companies and 360 plants in Brazil.
